A 32,900 sqm, GBP 303m national physics research hub and new home for the Cavendish Laboratory, spread over five floors. It contains 173 laboratories and over 26,000 sq ft of cleanroom space rated from ISO 7 to ISO 3. Highly sensitive instruments sit in a vibration-isolated basement, and the building reached BREEAM Excellent.
