A redevelopment of a tight Shoreditch secondary-school campus of seven buildings, including a Grade II-listed former county court and the Tabernacle Chapel, assembled over 150 years around a central courtyard. The scheme reuses and restores the historic buildings, adds new science labs and a Creative Arts Centre in the chapel, and sinks a sports hall seven metres below the courtyard. It won BD's 2024 Education Architect of the Year and a London Sustainability Award.
