The 2226 building maintains interior temperatures between 22°C and 26°C year-round with no mechanical heating or cooling, relying entirely on body heat, solar gain, and controlled natural ventilation through a 76cm thick brick envelope. It demonstrated a replicable passive climate model for Central European commercial buildings.
