The Elizabeth Line (line-wide architecture)

London, United Kingdom, Europe

Completed · Transport · Metro / Regional Railway · Temperate · 2022

A new cross-London railway whose central tunnelled section runs through ten stations. Grimshaw led a 'line-wide' design that gives every station a shared architectural language while allowing each to respond to its locality. It won the 2024 RIBA Stirling Prize.
