A GBP 38m restoration of Brighton's Grade I-listed Corn Exchange and Studio Theatre, reopened in 2023 after more than a decade of work. The 1806 building has an 18m single-span timber frame, among the widest of its type in the UK, which was exposed and strengthened. Decorative timber linings were repaired with around 6,500m of European oak and the roof re-covered with 16,000 Welsh slate tiles.
