NEXBOARD is a composite wallboard combining recycled plastic and cellulose waste in a core layer with intumescent fire-retardant chemistry. It addresses the AEC need for fire-safe interior partitions and wall systems that also resist water, mould, and insect damage. The intumescent layer expands under heat, creating a char barrier that slows flame propagation and limits rear-face temperature rise.
