Real-world deployments include Interbau (Berlin, 2013), Mjøstårnet (Norway, 2019, 18-storey), and 60+ North American projects (Albina Yard Portland, Stack Timber Vancouver). Char-rate predictability is validated under ISO 13823 and DIN 4102. Cost premium over concrete in North America ranges 8–22% depending on region and project scale; European data shows cost parity at volume. Regulatory pathway incomplete in some US jurisdictions; IBC code acceptance improved 2021–2024. No major structural failures attributed to CLT design defect; moisture and assembly quality remain site-dependent risks.
